Abstract

Abstract— Employee performance evaluation is a very important thing to do, no purpose other than was to assess the extent to which the performance of the employee, is there anything that needs to be repaired from the employee, and what needs to be done to develop the employee's performance. There are several tools that are commonly used to evaluate employee performance is the method of performance appraisal. However, this method has some problems such as: a subjective assessment, occurred halo effect, central tendency, influenced by age, race and gender. Therefore, we need a technical system assessment in performance appraisal.Fuzzy logic provides a specific value on any value between true or false statement to determine the membership function (MF) for each value of the input of the fuzzy (crisp inputs) and the degree of membership (degree of membership) which states the degree of membership function corresponding crisp input between 0 to 1, making it possible for an equation to have a value of true and false simultaneously.
