Perancangan Aplikasi Pemilihan Laptop Dengan Metode Simple Multi Attribut Rating Technique (SMART)

Abstract

In the era of fast-growing information technology, the presence of a laptop is not only a necessity, but a must. The use of laptops is not only limited to the world of work and education, but has also penetrated into various aspects of life, including entertainment and creativity. Therefore, determining the best laptop is a strategic decision. The problem of choosing a laptop is often experienced by many people, lack of knowledge of choosing a laptop with good specifications and a friendly price. Based on the authors make a formulation of the problem in this study, namely how to develop an application to choose the best laptop using the Simple Attribute Rating Technique (SMART) method. Decision Support System with this method is made to facilitate the selection of laptops with alternatives and criteria in the system. Based on the 10 data that has been submitted, the results obtained are three laptop brands that are recommended to be selected. Those are Xiomi Redmibook i5 in Rank one, Acer Aspire 5 Slim A514 in Rank two, and Lenovo Ideapad Slim 3i 14IGL05 in Rank three.
