Abstract— Daarul Qurán Islamic Boarding School needs more and more communication, with the large number of employees and students will certainly increase operational costs.The prohibition of carrying electronic devices such as mobile phones and so on is made more affordable communication media, namely VoIP. By optimizing the existing network of VoIP technology (Voice over Internet Protocol) into an alternative solution in communicating. VOIP technology is capable of passing packet voice, video and data traffic through an IP network. Briker is one of the original linux distributions made by the nation that is intended for the purpose of building a telephone network based on IPPBX VoIP. SIP protocol is commonly used in a VoIP network for addressing VoIP clients by utilizing observations based on IP Address.
